The rules were simple: in a carton of one dozen eggs, eight of them were hardboiled, and the remaining four were still raw. Efron and Fallon would take turns smashing eggs on their heads, and the first to get two raw eggs would lose. Before choosing his first egg, Efron admitted, 'I feel like I'm in the last scene of Deer Hunter right now.' Fallon assured the actor that his game was 'more fun.'
Efron was confident about his first selection. 'You can kind of tell,' he said while shaking the egg. 'I'm pretty positive that this one is...' Fallon cut him off, shook his head, and told the actor, 'You can't tell.' As it turned out, Efron was right.

It was a long and hard-fought battle that would try even Deadpool's might, but Reynolds emerged victorious in the end. The actor didn't escape totally unscathed however, having crushed one raw egg on his forehead.
